This website is a showcase of the travel writing and photography of Yazeed Kamaldien, a South African journalist and photographer.
Yazeed started his career at a daily newspaper in Cape Town, South Africa, and has since worked as an editor of a national newspaper for teenagers, a freelance writer for various magazines and newspapers as well as Internet publications.
He has also produced radio documentaries and news reports for a community radio station in Cape Town. His journalistic work has taken him to various countries and he has also worked as a journalist in Egypt, Germany and Jordan. He has a keen interest in travel writing.
Yazeed completed a four-year journalism course at the Peninsula Technikon in Cape Town and a post-graduate diploma in media management at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa.
